Flow and Mindfulness at Work

Flow is an optimal mental state in which a person is completely immersed in an activity, with a feeling of intense concentration, full engagement and satisfaction. This state is characterized by a loss of sense of time, a decrease in self-consciousness (ego) and a feeling of control over the task in hand.

 

Developed by psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi, this concept is often associated with optimal performance in work, sport, arts and other demanding activities. Flow contributes positively to well-being, productivity and personal satisfaction.

 

This feeling of Flow sometimes happens to us by chance. But there are techniques that make it easier and easier to achieve this state at work or in everyday life.

 

With this in mind, Diamant Formations offers conferences, workshops and training courses on « Flow and Mindfulness at Work », enabling your employees to:

Diamant Formations is collaborating with the University Savoie Mont-Blanc, the HEIG-VD and the University of Geneva to evaluate the concomitant impacts of Flow and mindfulness meditation. This collaboration between academic expertise and applied training is invaluable (see below).

Our academic partners
Diamant Formations collaborates with teams of researchers from the University Savoie Mont-Blanc, the HEIG-VD and the University of Geneva. In particular, we are conducting a study to evaluate the concomitant impacts of Flow and mindfulness meditation at work.
 
The initial results of this study confirm that our training courses have a impact on:

  • awareness: mental clarity, discernment, emotional regulation

  • the state of Flow at work

  • well-being

  • sense of social support

  • ability to recover
