Validation and recognition of Mindfulness by the scientific community
Meditation has attracted a growing interest in the scientific community in recent decades. Numerous scientific studies have been conducted to explore the effects of meditation practice on various aspects of health, brain function and human behavior.
Scientists are seeking to explain how meditation can improve emotional and cognitive wellbeing, as well as mind-body connection. This research was largely influenced by the emergence of Mindfulness in the medical field in the late 1970s.
Since the 2000s, the number of studies on Mindfulness programs has risen sharply, with over 600 studies conducted each year.
In 2013, the American Mindfulness Research Association was created to promote research standards and provide resources in the field, bringing together experts such as Richard Davidson, Rebecca Crane, Mark Williams and so forth.
In 2018, the University of Massachusetts established a division dedicated to Mindfulness, marking its ongoing commitment to medical research. This is another strong sign of the accelerating recognition of Mindfulness-based approaches by the scientific world

-
The economy is at the service of society
